Will it fit my specific fork?

Yes, it fits nearly all standard mountain bike thru-axles (including Fox, RockShox, and ร–hlins).

Grab a standard #2 pencil and try sliding it into your front axle. If it fits, the ERM fits.

Will it rattle out when I hit rock gardens or big drops?

Will it work if my bike has a carbon fork or aftermarket axle?

As long as your front axle is hollow with an open 15mm inner diameter on the drive-side or non-drive-side end, the retention grommets will grip securely inside the shaft.

Are the replacement plugs proprietary?

No. While your kit includes premium bacon strips, the ERM tool works seamlessly with standard, cheap bacon strips you can find at any local bike shop.

How do I install the plugs into the tool before a ride?

Simply thread 1 or 2 strips through the fork eyelet of the ERM tool, center them, and slide the entire assembly into your axle. It stays pre-loaded and hidden until you need it.

Is it hard to pull out if my hands are covered in mud, sweat, or sealant?

Not at all. The quick-pull head is oversized and knurled so you can get a firm, one-handed grip even while wearing thick full-finger riding gloves mid-trail.

What is it made out of?

The ERM is CNC Machined out of 304 stainless steel to prevent rust and corrosion.

Will it add noticeable weight to the front end of my bike?

No. You are utilizing dead, empty space inside a component (your axle) that is already on your bike. At just 8 grams of high-grade 304 stainless steel, the added weight is entirely unnoticeable.
